The city of Sharjah, capital of the emirate with the same name (the largest of the emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates ) has launched a new public toilet installatio from Danfo.
The installation is one of the world's most sophisticated, fully automatic public toilets. With existing facilities deemed outdated and dirty, Hassan Al Taffaq, Head of Environmetnal Section at Sharjah Municipality, hopes that the superior cleanliness offered by the Danfo unit will allow visitors to feel comfortable using the public toilet.
Danfo Middle East, the United Arab Emirates-based subsidiary, have identified the solution in partnerhsip with Sharjah municipality. With the public views of the old installations in mind, great importance was placed on the Danfo unit's automatic self-cleaning cycle and their elevated standards of hygiene.
A number of units will be placed at the corniche and by the public beach in the coming 3 months.
